Susie puts an ad in the paper as follows: "$500 reward for the return of my calico cat." Johnny finds the cat and returns her to Susie, but Susie refuses to pay Johnny $500. What is the result if Johnny sues Susie for the money?

a. Because the ad was merely a solicitation of offers, there was no contract until Susie accepted Johnnies offer to find her cat, which she never did.
b. Johnny may not recover the money becasue he did not contact Susie before he began his search.
c. Because Johnny did not pay Susie to keep her offer open, Susie is free to revoke and need not pay Johnny anything.
d. The ad was an offer for a unilateral contract, which Johnny accepted by returning the cat. Susie is therefore bound to pay Johnny the $500.

Had a fender bender almost 3 weeks ago, and everyone there thought it was minor damage, so everyone agreed unamimously not to call the police. Now the guy that got hit has more damage than he previously thought, so whats a police report now. Thinking about notifying insurance, but my mom says not to (car in her name). Can they raise your insurance just by talking to them? I mean, there was no police report so really there is no proof. Don't know want to do, because I want to notify them so I don't get in trouble, but my mother and everyone else say don't worry about it. Wreck happened b/c after a stop (and everyone gets close, the guy locked up his brakes going about 15mph, b/c he was watching TV while driving.) Live in Florida and I belive its a no-fault state. When I called police later they said they can't write a report even 5 minutes after everyone left the scene.

Where to get a tape or CD of a Nascar race. The Sunday after the Datona 500 where Dale Earnhardt crashed and was killed. I love the tribute that they had on the following Sunday but I searched the net and cant find it. I can find the story but not the race video.

I work as a computer tech and I've probably worked on Windows Vista around 20 times, on desktops and laptops, mostly dells, and a few HP's, and a few others. If you like Vista and are happy with it, and don't have any problems, you will probably enjoy it.
That said, I have had to uninstall Vista on 4 computers, and install XP again, some of these problems include, Not being able to install their favorite games, they got copies of office from someone else and it won't install on Vista, because they don't have a valid serial number. The printer won't install on Vista, the incredimail won't work correctly on Vista, and a ton of other reasons. People are creatures of habit, and Vista is just too much different than XP.
People want to be able to sit down and the computer works and works well. Vista just isn't there just yet.
As far as cool features, I've been too busy with the problems to notice. What do you think?

For my english class, we we're told to write a paper on some type of disability a person was born with- whether it be deaf, blind, etc.. but we were told to not use those. So, is it okay if I were to write it on Tourettes? It's something people are born with right, but is more obvious as the child grows? We're also supposed to write about whether they form a community and how so? any help? THANKS!

I'm a catholic but i don't go to church coz i don't want to listen to the Priest. Other thing is i don't nderstand why catholic have to pay taxes. Where all the money goes? I believe in Jesus Christ but he preaches without big churches. And why priest telling to people not to use contraceptives such as condoms or pills. Is church responsible for those AIDS victim?

On average, how long do you think it'll take? With numbing and extracting, what's your time estimate? I can manage an hour without twilight sleep, but if this is generally a 2-3-4 hour ordeal, I don't want to know!

(PS Thanks to everyone to advised me a couple of days ago to see a dentist ASAP for the infection. I did, got antibiotics, and have an extraction scheduled.)
