I can't look people straight in the eye for more than a few seconds even if I'm talking to them. For cases like an interview I have no choice and summon my strength and do it just a bit longer. Is this a common thing, does anyone else have this problem? Can I fix this?

I've been having a debate with my science teacher about whether animals have feelings. I'm sure that they do. Who agrees? Also, my cat laughs, has anyone else seen an animal laughing?

Why is it that the catholic church doesn't allow priests to marry a woman, if christianity is pro-marriage between man and woman, shouldn't a priest be allowed to marry to help set an example?

I remember seeing one time on the news how the catholic church discovered that three priests had secretly married women. So first they had them lie on the ground as a form of humiliation, then they kicked them out of the church.

But whenever a priest molests a little boy, all the church does is move the priest to another church, keep quiet about and then the process repeats again and again. Why not kick the priest out of the church and send him to jail where he should be?

The church will protect a child molester, but they'll kick out a man for getting married. I just can't understand the reasoning behind all that.

I'm working on a website and would like it to have its text-input boxes to have rounded corners. I can do it in a table, but I'd like to be able to do it with CSS so the look of the input box goes throughout the site.

What I have now is a 3x3 table, with the outside cells making up the border, and the inside cell being the input box. My graphics are such that the left and right middle cells are the "rounded" parts (think "(" and ")") and the top-middle and bottom-middle cells are actually 1x1 pixel graphics (the intent being that I can use this for a short input [ie, "age",] or a longer input type [street address] without having to create new graphics for each possible text-input-box length.) The four remaining cells (the corners) have transitionary graphics (that help the border go from the curved sides to the straight tops and bottoms.)

My table-based one is located at http://oddshift.com/rctest/ so you can check it out and let me know if what I'd like to do is possible.
Tnx!

Mick Mulligan was a drinker, not a complete lush, but a steady toper. Pints of stout, large whiskies, he could swallow copious amounts and feel no ill effects. Except for one. Secretly Mulligan had a weakness for the worst kind - he talked in his sleep. Not a fault to have when late nights are the norm and drink is always present.

Amazingly, Mick didn't know of his failing until one fateful night he returned home the worse for wear and fell asleep as soon as he hit the pillow. All night through, midst his snores, he kept his wife awake muttering:

'Ramona, oh Ramona! Ramonaaaa!'

In the morning his wife woke him and said: 'It's time for work. And who's that Ramona you were talking about in your sleep?'

'Ramona?' said Mulligan, a little taken aback. 'Ramona? That's not a woman. That's a horse. A feller in the pub gave me a tip in the 3.30 at Haydock Races, a horse called Ramona.'

Off went Mick to work feeling really smug about the way he'd fooled the good lady. Returning home that evening Mick was greeted by the sight of his bags, all packed, standing outside the front door.

'My God,' he said to the good lady, 'what's happened?'

She replied through clenched teeth: 'The horse rang!'
