I got an email from yahoo stating that my answer was not within the guidelines. A member asked,should Obama be elected if he did not know how to use a gun.My response was, you cannot be serious. If you are , I think people like yourself should take an intelligence test before you are allowed to vote. Too harsh..... I have heard worst. Please give me your opinion. I think yahoo was not fair.

I usually don't believe tabloid gossip, but I recently saw the cover of one that said The Prez and the First lady are headed for a split. As a former 10yr resident of Washington DC, this is not the first time I've heard this rumor. A very reliable source, even heard one of the Bush Twins complain about her parents marriage, hoping for a divorce herself.If this were true, how would it make you feel about his presdency and him as a person?

I can't believe what she just told me, this guy said he's not going to take care of the baby he calls and harrasses my wife.
he said he'll pay for an abortion,but not child support.
I really don't want her to have this baby either, but two wrongs don't make a right. I've gotta go back to Iraq in a few weeks. I hope he doesn't start coming around again when I'm gone. what should I do?

Hi guys! Please help with the question!
A solution is prepared by dissolving 15.0 g NaOH in 150.0 mL of 0.250M nitric acid. Calculate the concentrations of all the ions present in the solution after the reaction has occured. Assume no volume change on addition of NaOH.

The equation would be: NaOH + HNO3 ---> NaNO3 +H2O

The way teacher explained was:
1) we find #moles of NaOH =..........=0.375 mol
2)find #moles HNO3 =...............=0.0375 mol
...but then she identifies concentration only for [OH], [NO3], [Na] ions....why not for [H] ion as well?
and to find the moles for OH^- she wrote:
OH^- = 0.375 mol - 0.0375 mol
why do we substract NaOH from HNO3 to find OH??
