I usually don't believe tabloid gossip, but I recently saw the cover of one that said The Prez and the First lady are headed for a split. As a former 10yr resident of Washington DC, this is not the first time I've heard this rumor. A very reliable source, even heard one of the Bush Twins complain about her parents marriage, hoping for a divorce herself. If this were true, how would it make you feel about his presdency and him as a person?

Sympathetic more than anything. You have to believe that what Bush has gone through during his presidency would put a serious strain on any marriage...no matter how sound.
However, I also know that going back as far as I can remember there have been rumors about every president having marital problems and the possibility of divorce while in office. People love to gossip and this is likely no exception.

Rumors, rumors. yet as to who cares? Or leaving out of the information or its being none of our agency? If it is going to ever come to bypass that a president is going via a divorce throughout the time of time of conflict, we do could understand, and it fairly is valid information for the reason that dealing with a divorce is a very frightening element and ones psychological stability could be strained. unlike your average sexual affair that leaves a guy greater pleased than he replaced into earlier

Have not heard anything solid. I am wondering why Laura Bush has become the most unheard of First Lady in American history.

If this is true, I wouldn't blame Laura Bush for wanting to split with him. He's been such an embarrassment not only to America but to many other nations. He has run our country so far into the ground. He is going to go down in history as America's worst president.

Rumor creation is a big business. Do you realize how many times the price of oil has risen because of a rumor? I always wondered where did a particular rumor start. In a Men's Room between Stall #2 and #3? And that same rumor got all the way to the Oil Brokers in London who jacked up the price of oil for the entire World. Gullibility prevails.

First off if ( and this is a big if) they are having marital problems it is not my business. Not yours either. Secondly if they were to get divorced it would not be the end of the world. It would not change my opinion of him or of Laura. It also would have no effect on how I feel about his presidency. I would feel very sorry for both of them as divorce is a very painful thing especially in a long term marriage. Sure makes me glad I don't read the tabloids.

I suppose the opposition will do anything to stir up the pot . Why not just leave this question for the tabloids - that's what make the papers sell. You are probably listening to the problems that are in the life of the " Clinton's " instead - .... Now there is a story to be told.....

Most of the country disapproves of the job he's doing. Laura is probably no exception.

Divorce wouldn't change my opinion of him.
Its all the other ignorant things he's done that make me think he's a fool.
