Hell yeah. A relationship isn't only about emotions. Physical things are very important. I like my girl to melt under my touch as well as my intellect. I like her to have physical and emotional power with me as well.

I think you should try some variety -- for example, you could experiment and see if he responds the same when you ignore him.
If he comes begging, even when you abuse him, then you have trained him well.
If he doesn't respond, then maybe you are losing your touch, and you need to return to Silly School for a refresher course.
