Have no choice but being focussed, as I'm 2 1/2 hours into a 12 hour shift at work

It's beyond belief. I'm more than halfway into my shift at work, and all I've done tonight is clean a few offices, drink two cups of coffee, play around on Yahoo and Myspace, and go out for Mexican food. It's a payday, the last day of work for the week, and the boss is nowhere to be seen ever since telling us that we lost a spot on our team. Not just the person doing the job, but the spot, and we have to run around a man down despite the fact the other cleaning team on campus has a floater, that is someone that helps them out when they are down a person but otherwise just dusts and hides. So I'm pretty unmotivated, which might seem like I'm completely unqualified to give advice, but I will anyways.
Just think of middle aged fast food workers or yes even janitors. Think long and hard on people with grey hair asking if you want to supersize, without even having the manager tag on their shirt, and the paper should be a breeze. Good luck!

Motivate yourself by getting some fresh air and relax every couple of hours with a break!

I know exactly how you feel. I was sat here trying to do my work but instead I'm on here answering your question, lol. Try doing a full days work and then give yourself a reward for it later maybe by going out with friends. Good luck

hunni if you are really struggling leave it for an hour, go for a walk, in england its nice out, just clear your mind and then go back to it! hopefully when you return to it you may find it easier and not have such a blank! if you ever find that you are struggling then take a break for a bit and you should hopefully find inspiration returning! good luck hun! xx
