I'm getting a large dog as a watch dog and will raise it in the backyard, in a dog pin. do you think it's ok?

Can I create a simple database with Flash without haveing to have access or my sql installed on a client comp?

What I am trying to do is create a .swf file that a person can download and open on their computer. Using Explorer or Netscape Navigator/FireFox, whatever have the .swf displayed and allow the user to create some kind of simple database to store locations to pictures etc. So the user pushes a button and it contacts a database of files and allows the user to select a file. I have been looking around and I see things on how to do it with asp scripts to talk to Access. I however would rather not assume the user has any special things, (Access, MySQL, etc.), beyond the usual browser. Can I do this? Just create some file so that it can store information in it for retrieval and editing?

I want to get on birth control but I will be moving across the state next fall...?

Should I go and get on birth control now or wait and go to a doctor's office near the place where I will be living next year.... or does it matter? I just don't know how they deal with the prescription refills, etc. in that situation.

Caregivers dealing with client suicide?

I am a caregiver who recently lost a client who was on hospice, dying of cancer. She was young. Only 43 and had 2 children. She didnt want to let her kids watch her detiriate and suffer. She shot herself when I was alone in the house with her. I had no idea she was even contemplating suicide. How do you go on and continue being a good caregiver to other people? I have very few friends and 3 children of my own. My husband is not much help right now either he is working out of town and I dont see him for weeks on end. I need a support group, friends something to get my mind off all the details of this tragic event. Any ideas?

First time amtrak ride from NJ to NC...any advice plz!!!?

I am not trying to sound like a baby but i would appreciate advice from people who have used amtrak especially from NJ to NC....just let me know the basics...like if the staff is helpful, are the seats comfortable and are there outlets in coach?? thx in advance i leave next thurs and im kinda nervous lol!!!

When do you get first ultrasound??

i am 6 weeks pregnant now....and i am dying to hear a hear beat and know things are going well...because up to this point I have not felt pregnant....and i was wanting to know the average time you get your first ultrasound...i have also hear of a sort of internal one they do this early on....has anyone gotten that or know about it?? thank you!!

Why is it that when one converts to Catholicism from Protestantism they do it because they have learned?

what the church teaches and it's history supporting the church, but when a catholic converts to protestantism it's mostly from ignorance and not understanding what the church teaches? I have seen this happen a lot (for example with me), and a lot of protestants tell me that if I truly knew what the bible said I wouldn't consider becoming a catholic... but I think the truth is that if protestants actually knew what catholicism is and it's history and how catholicism is biblical and how the church gave us the bible they wouldn't consider being protestants... so protestants why don't you try learning about catholicism from an actual catholic source before judging it ? I did and now I'm becoming a catholic.

I am going through ultrasound monitoring my ovulation at a fertility clinic. They ask me to have no intercourse from day 11 up until ovulation day! Isn't it better to have intercourse a day or 2 before the actual ovulation day?

First hockey jersey?

Who had the honor of being your first jersey? What's the favorite jersey that you own?

I got my first jersey for Christmas in 1991 - white Jaromir Jagr - Penguins. It's snagged and ratty from me playing hockey in it so much when I was younger.

My favorite jersey is my black, 1992 Mario Lemieux complete with 25th anniversary, Badger Bob, and Stanley Cup patches...it is a beautiful sight indeed...

Hoping to get the white Sidney Crosby for my birthday this year...keeping my fingers crossed...

What do I do about bullies?

I have several people bullying me, so I pray for them and ask God to give them the wisdom and maturity to stop, but it keeps happening and I'm not sure what to do next. I don't want to have a big confrontation, but I also don't want to keep being bullied, and I can't just avoid most of these people. What should I do?

PETsMart? How do you say it?

Alright...this is a very stupid question, but it has been bugging me for a long time. Is the store petsmart pronounced Pet's Mart or Pet Smart? The "s" seems to be smaller than all of the other letters, and there isn't an apostrophe.
