The biggest requirement to be a fashion designer is not to be good at drawing. It's a plus of course, but it's not that important. Some famous fashion designers can't really draw well at all, they just make some very basic sketches of their designs. Though you do need a LOT of talent to survive in that industry. Talent and persistence, since it's so competitive. You have to settle for really bad salaries and very hard work the first few years you are in fashion. Unless you have connections in the industry it's really difficult to get your foot in the door. Many people who pursue a career in fashion design quit because it's just too hard. You also need not just artistic skills but business skills. To be a successful fashion designer you have to combine art with marketing, in order to sell your product. Being a fashion designer seems like a glamourous job, but it's not. Fashion designers work really, really, really hard... like 60 hours a week or more.

study to stitch. style layout is very aggressive and the skill to stitch your guy or woman garment may be the convenience you have that gets you only before all people else. you will might desire to stitch in case you bypass to layout college. word that settlement stitching is costly, that's extra fee-effective to make your guy or woman samples and designs. And at that's middle, style layout is approximately making stylish, ingenious and inventive clothing, so the skill to attend to and build clothing from fabric is an necessary area of style layout. As i've got reported until now, all people can draw a notably image, the real layout skill are available being waiting to tutor the image right into a real wearable stylish high quality garment. i actually spend little time drawing, I spend extra time trend making, pattern making, and in garment shape. (and organization stuff like accounting, funds bypass, advertising, and so on. yet no one needs to be attentive to something approximately that!) you could desire to be attentive to what fabric paintings with what silhouettes, what tactics will make the fabric into the shapes you like, the thank you to diminish the textile, the thank you to stitch the clothing so curiously like your drawing, and the thank you to restoration it whilst there is not any thank you to stitch some thing precisely like the drawing. you could desire to to be attentive to fibers and fiber residences and which fibers make which fabric and which fabric make what clothing...there is a lot extra to style layout and quite drawing is in ordinary terms a small area of style layout and all people can draw notably photos.
