I asked a question early about induceing a dogs heat and I think the way I worded my question I was completely misunderstood. Let me just start out by saying I LOVE MY DOGS! They aren't just pets to me they are part of my family and are treated that way and we would NEVER do ANYTHING to cause them any harm. That being said, I also appreciate the responses that I recieved, even the ones that weren't very friendly. I am just curious and want to learn what anyone knows about induceing a dogs heat cycle. I have been told by "reputable breeders" that it's possible and common but haven't found much info. on it anywhere. Let me say again, I would never harm my animals, I just want to learn! I believe in letting nature take it course, I just thought that if it was possible and not hurtful it might be easier on my baby to whelp in Oct. instead of Dec. when it's so cold. Thanks

I dont know about anyone eles but I witness this almost everytime I go to Walmart....I pass by the toys to get dog food and kids are running through the isles throwing balls, riding the bikes, and skateboarding. But then I dont see any parents telling them to stop. My kids would never be roaming the isles without me by their side. Does anyone eles see this happen?

Ive been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a while and during our relationship he's been going to court for a crime he commited over a year ago ( not a violent crime or sexual or anything ). He's good to me, treats me & my son good. Since we've been together, he's been going to night school and doing everything he can to better himself. Today he had to go to court, and he called me this morning to tell me he loves me and that his lawyer said he's going to jail. He usually calls me back everytime he gets out of court, to let me know what happened and I haven't heard anything back from him yet. Im really worried about him and hoping he isn't in jail. And if he is.. I dont know what to do. I know alot of people say all guys in jail are losers, but that's not the case. Some have just made mistakes in their past but have changed since then and I believe that to be true about him. How can I be supportive of him & let him know I love him without stopping my life?

I work for a university in a fairly casual office. I got a note from my supervisor telling me that I needed to choose clothing that was less revealing. When I met with her to discuss it she told me that it wasn't WHAT I was wearing, it was what it looked like ON me. When I asked her what she meant she told me, and I quote

"You're very pretty and you're busty and though I know you can't help that, clothing that looks perfectly appropriate on less-womanly women looks sexy on you and I've noticed that some of the older men in the office stop by your desk to check out your...um...goodies."

So what do I do about this? I'm 5'3" and a size 8-10 with a 36D bust. What sort of styles would be more 'conservative' without making me look heavy?

I personally think religion shouldn't change or have anything to do with your love. It would be alright if your love was inspired by your religion though.

He is 9 1/2 months old. It started bleeding a little bit because he hit it on a sharp edge. I was holding his sides while he was playin with the stuff on the shelf and i sneezed and he fell. He is fine now and laughing and babbling like "mama" and "bababa". .but i was wondering, what could I put on the edge to make it safe for now? I was thinkins about just cutting styrofoam.. but I wasnt sure how safe that was since it broke apart easily and he could swallow it. Any ideas?

I recently started going to the gym to start on the path of weight loss. I'm doing fine in the exercise department. I go twice a day (1 hour in the morning/ 1 hour at night). But....I haven't been losing weight as a matter of fact...I've gained almost 5 lbs! Why? And why is that the more I work out the hungrier I am? I fight my "hunger" but I'm still not losing weight.

What I wanted to know is whether there is any method by which gravitational force can be removed in a small area on the surface of the Earth. Like how does the astronauts prepare for the gravitation less condition in space.

Recently, Quantum physics has replaced Newtonian physics as the means with which to explain the universe. Quantum physics helps explain those extraordinary circumstances that the old system couldn't

Likewise, in my opinion, atheism has its limits. Logically atheism is a rational and reasonable philosophy. If all people were atheists there would be some benefits in day to day life. (i.e. Conflicts triggered by religion would cease to exist. People would pay more attention to making this a better world for themselves and others since this is all there is - or so it seems)

However atheism doesn't have all the answers. When confronted with things he can't explain an atheist does what the fundamentalists do when confronted with bible errancy - he claims these things don't exist

Atheists view this universe through physical eyes only. To them, there is no non-physical or spiritual component in a human being. All phenomena in this universe must have a logical & physical explanation
