Yes. Even though she tells you that you are not the father she can take you to court, say 4 years from now, and sue you for back child support. Even if you tell the judge she told you that you were not the father, guess what she's gonna say! The judge will order DNA tests done and if it comes back that you are the father, he can make you pay back child support from the day the child was born! If I were you I would demand a DNA test to rule it out now. NO matter what she says, to protect your self in the future. And if you are the father you don't want to loose those precious years with your child.

Yes she can! Go get tested. If you are the father you have to pay for the test if not D.S.S. will pay for it. Good Luck man and if you can't afford a DNA test there is always the old method of a blood test. Just because she doesn't want you in her or the babies life you have rights as the father (if you are the father that is) Look out for number 1 right now and that is you! You don't want this coming back in a few years when you are with someone else trying to go on with you life. Trust me I know how vindictive females can be I am one!

The only way out of this is with a DNA test or to give up all paternal rights to the child. She can come at you any time for support and the court will be 100% behind her.

Unfortunately yes. She may have been unsure who the father was or just didn't want you around at the time. I guess she is takign you to court for child support now...Correct? Just get a paternity test and get to the bottom of her crap for the childs sake. Good Luck!!

She just gave you a reason to get a paternity test, if she takes you to court make sure you get an attorney and challenge her to the test! find out who did she named as the father in the birth certificate and how many guys she has slept with! good luck!

Asked my friend in law school.
She definately can. Unless she told you in front of A LOT of witnesses or an attorney or signed a paper in front of a notary saying you aren't.
In other words. Yes, she can.
You have a right to a paternity test. And if you are the father, sorry dude, she can demand all kinds of child support.
One word. Condom.

It is scary but while that she is carrying that baby she has all the rights in the world. However, you can demand a paternity test. It costs around 200.00 but well worth knowing whether you are a dad or not. Good luck

Yes, she could. She can bring you to court and make you pay child support. You should definitely pay for a paternity test for your protection and the child's protection.

Yes, she can still take you to court. Because when she said that, she probably didn't know WHO the baby's daddy was. That means nothing if all she does is say it, because you didn't have a perternity test.
