Well... there's a difference between the two. FireFox tends to run media such as movies and games better. However, Internet Explorer loads plain pages and styles much easier. If you're a heavy gamer and/or you watch videos often, go with FireFox. If not, stick with IE.

Mozilla Firefox is a safer alternative to IE. However, there are still some things that don't show properly on it.

Personally, I use it for everything except work (which unfortunately requires IE) and I have much less problems for doing so.

Mozilla Firefox (available at http://www.mozilla.com) is an awesome web browser and far more secure than Internet Explorer. It has some shortcomings but for an all around safe, secure and reliable browser, seriously consider downloading and installing it. You don't have to remove IE - you can have both on your computer. Try this browser, I think you'll like it. Here's a link to information about this browser for your convenience: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/features.html#experience

Yes, Mozzilla is safer. It doesn't use ActiveX agents like IE, and those are the most heavily exploited by virus writers. Microsoft includes that component to interact with Office and other Microsoft products, and virus people love to write viruses that take over your computer. Mozilla is safer because it doesn't allow such code to execute. It is a free for downloading as well.

Mozilla FireFox is much better and safer than IE and has extensions. Basically you don't need to dump IE, just use FireFox as your primary browser.

Yes, it is safer and better. It's also free.

I ONLY use Internet Explorer for Windows Updates because it is so vulnerable to malware attacks!!!
