I know this question has been asked before but since I have nationwide coverage then there won't be roaming or long distance fees. I tried calling Cingular but I won't get my next bill for a while so I can't tell if I've been charged or not. I was just wondering if it'll cost me anything before I keep voting using my cell phone. Has anyone voted using your cell phone before and did it cost money?

An Irishman named Murphy went to his doctor after a long illness. The doctor, after a lengthy examination, sighed and looked Murphy in the eye and said, "I've some bad news for you... you have cancer and it can't be cured. I'd give you two weeks to a month." Murphy, shocked and saddened by the news, but of solid character, managed to compose himself and walk from the doctor's office into the waiting room. There he saw his son who had been waiting.

Murphy said, "Son, we Irish celebrate when things are good and celebrate when things don't go so well. In this case, things aren't so well. I have cancer and I've been given a short time to live. Let's head for the pub and have a few pints."

After three or four pints the two were feeling a little less somber. There were some laughs and more beers. They were eventually approached by some of Murphy's old friends who asked what the two were celebrating.

Murphy told them that the Irish celebrate the good and the bad... he went on to tell them that they were drinking to his impending end. He told his friends, "I've only got a few weeks to live as I have been diagnosed with AIDS." The friends gave Murphy their condolences and they had a couple more beers.

After his friends left, Murphy's son leaned over and whispered, "Dad, I thought you said that you were dying from cancer. You just told your friends that you were dying from AIDS!" Murphy said,"I am dying from cancer, son, I just don't want any of them sleeping with your mother after I'm gone."

Shouldn't firefighters in all states enjoy the same protection? How many firemen suffer alligator bites each year when trying to hook the hose up to the fire hydrant? How many of our beloved pet poochies have to find somewhere else to piddle? Let's stop this dangerous practice in all states.

It's a frequently-used rhetorical device. Someone will spout off a lot of left-wing drivel that follows the Communist Party line from A to Z. And then, at the end, they'll say, "You know; I'm really very conservative at heart. It's just that I don't like what conservatives are doing". Or they'll say, "I've actually been a registered Republican for years. But I didn't leave the party; the party left me". It's obviously a lot of bull. The people doing this are parlor pinks who are lying about their backgrounds. So is this a rhetorical trick that they are teaching at lefty Ministries of Truth? Or are the practitioners acting on their own? Are they schizophrenic?

I have seen so many questions asked dealing with 'taken' guy scenerios. Most of the answers are good, but is there such thing as a guy breaking up with his girlfriend for another girl, and ends up never doing the same to that other girl? Out of curiousity.

look around you!
let's see, the example i use most often is doorways. if you enter a house that is over 100 years old, the original doorways are much shorter than they are today because people were shorter then. evolution has resulted in a present day taller human.
take a look at germs - they evolve continuoulsy. you can't use antibiotics to kill certain germs because they have evolved so much that they are resistant to them.
there are many examples of small scale evolution in today's world, i just don't understand why some people easily dismiss it? is it because it doesn't fit into their religious views?

And can you pull over anywhere on the Alcan and fish pretty much?
