I am going to be traveling in my truck from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Fairbanks, Alaska. How much would it cost to travel? Me and my friends are going, and how long will it take about? We'll be going straight up, like taking our time but not going west or anything.
And can you pull over anywhere on the Alcan and fish pretty much?

So much depends on how you are traveling and what kind of accomodation you expect. This is about a 3500 mile trip and gasoline costs more in Canada and Alaska. Once you get past Edmonton there are few fancy hotels , but lots of plain good ones. Are you and your friends into sharing a room? sharing a bed? There are lots of places to fish but not necessarily right beside the road. The best places are always more remote
