It's a frequently-used rhetorical device. Someone will spout off a lot of left-wing drivel that follows the Communist Party line from A to Z. And then, at the end, they'll say, "You know; I'm really very conservative at heart. It's just that I don't like what conservatives are doing". Or they'll say, "I've actually been a registered Republican for years. But I didn't leave the party; the party left me". It's obviously a lot of bull. The people doing this are parlor pinks who are lying about their backgrounds. So is this a rhetorical trick that they are teaching at lefty Ministries of Truth? Or are the practitioners acting on their own? Are they schizophrenic?
