I don't know what I'm looking for though :-(

It currently has a 1.99ghz processor.. but for the sake of playability on some games, I'd like to upgrade. I'm not sure what I can upgrade to though, or if I can at all. Anyone who could help would be greatly appreciated. Are there any sites that will tell me this info?

Thanks!

I mean, you could store it and send it to Venus every 10 years or something like that. It's very unlikely that E.T. life would survive on Venus (or an equally harsh planet), so instead of letting it rot on Earth, why not just send it away? Once its half-life is over, it's no longer harmful anyway, right? So the chances of causing any trouble that way is very small.

I'm finishing an associate degree in radiologic technology in Spring 2008. After establishing a year or two of experience, I'd like to become a traveling RT. I'm looking for advice on what agencies are best for that.

Every agency claims to be the #1 agency, with the best pay, best housing, best jobs, best locations, etc., and they can't all be telling the truth. Plus when I search for radiography jobs on their websites, most of them come up with zero.

Has anyone actually built a decent career as a traveling RT? I'd like to know more. Thanks!

(I want advice from real x-ray techs, not recruiters, by the way. They'll have their chance later.)

This question is based on an answer given by "Concerned Soldier" I'm a conservative (by the way, not a bad word) and fully support our troops and the war on terror. We are there, in the middle of a war. There are deaths, on both sides. That is the nature of war. The cost of US lives in the same span of time during WWII was much higher and we didn't give up then. Even with the "extremist liberals" of their day wanting to pull us out of it. That has been true throughout our history during any armed conflict. I'm not bashing liberals. I believe the extremist right and the extremist left are detrimental to both parties and should be excommunicated so they can get back to doing what's right for the country, not what's right for the party. (Discussion for another time.) On with the question. Previous wars or armed conflicts have involved a tangible enemy. Do you believe an Army, even one as well trained, supplied, and proud as ours can defeat a concept? Leave out the political rhetoric plz.

I mean whatever we do, whatever happens to us, whatever we experience in life,is there a reason behind everything. Starting from the minutest of the things, like dropping something, may be a pen, or eating something you shouldn't have. Is there a reason behind everything.
If all these things, our lives have already been planned, then what is the use of putting efforts.

I am the homecoming queen, in student council, and in 3 varsity sports- and i just can't seem to find a real friend. Everyone seems fake. The guys are either jerks or totally obsessive over me. I just met this awsome guy tho who is really funny, and probably my best friend now. He has started to like me... what should i do? I don't think i like him like that, but i don't want to lose him as a friend. Should i stop the friendship before i hurt him, or just let it keep going?
