I have a compaq EVO CMT d510 (same as d510).
Here is the link for the spec's on the PC:

I don't know what I'm looking for though :-(

It currently has a 1.99ghz processor.. but for the sake of playability on some games, I'd like to upgrade. I'm not sure what I can upgrade to though, or if I can at all. Anyone who could help would be greatly appreciated. Are there any sites that will tell me this info?

Thanks!

I would like to play vanguard: saga of heroes. I have plans to get more ram (currently have 768), but the processor seems like it would slow me down, since it's 400mhz too slow. That game is the main reason why I'd like to upgrade. Is there anything I can upgrade to, or am I out of luck? Thanks!!!

Looking at the specs, you have a Intel socket 478, with a FSB of 400 or 533Mhz. On pricegrabber.com, I saw a Pentium 4B 2.4Ghz 512Kb 533mhz for 39.00 (pre-owned)

and a Celeron 2.6Ghz 400Mhz L2 Cache size 128kB for 75.00

Also, I would upgrade the video card. That's another question.

Hi. Your processor seems plenty fast, but you should have the best and most RAM you can afford and the same for your GPU.
