My son is at a stage where he looks at me while doing something he knows he shouldnt (ex. touching the TV, or worse the oven) I tell him no and he slowly walks to it. Recently I started flicking his hand with my finger but feel guilty afterward. I say no and hold him away from it but as soon as I let him go he goes right back. If I "flick" his hand he usually just laughs at me too... i feel much worse than he does! I always follow through when I say "no" I think being consistant is most important! Thanks for any help!

I gather that there is a prayer recited for each bead, but how many beads are there? What do they signify? For what reason(s) would one "say" a rosary? Is it the same prayer for each bead? Are all the beads the same?
No uninformed or Catholic-hating Protestants, please.

Reason I ask is because, I'm graduating in August from my Graphic Design class and my dad is going to send me on vacation to wherever I want to go. I don't exactly want to go over seas to Europe like Italy and Greece just yet, seeing how I havent even been to Las Vegas, Miami, or many parts of the U.S. I never even been to Canada. I want to see what it's like there, so who knows or has been to Toronto, is it a good area to visit? Give details, please!

I have just had a CVS test which confirmed that I am having a baby with Down's Syndrome. I'm devestated. Although I'd always thought I would terminate a pregnancy if I found out there was a problem it isn't so easy now that I've seen the ultrasound and seen my baby moving and developing. There is no way of telling the severity of the condition and I don't know what to think about how it will affect the baby as it grows up and how it will affect my husband and I.

How can one ever become entirely objective? If we are brutally honest, we have to admit the unpleasant truth about ourselves, in that we all have prejudices. We all have proclivities. We all choose favorites. How then may we be truly objective?

What if objectivity is illusory? After all, how can we know it is real? We can only imagine what things appear like through different eyes, but we can never actually experience that detachment.

What is your opinion?

I have always had a knack for being 'into something' right before it becomes really popular or mainstream. I drank bottled water when people still thought it was NUTS to pay for water. That's one of many examples. You don't even have to have a knack at this point to know that carbon trading and "green" products have HUGE growth potential. I don't have much, if any, money to spend upfront. ANY ideas on how I can take advantage of this new carbon economy? Any 'Post It' notes or "Hula Hoop' ideas out there? I would love to buy some land, install tons of solar panels and sell clean energy back to the 'grid' but that is totally out of my range financially.

Im an elecrtician and after 14 years doing the same job over and over im bored.
I feel like im wasting my life and that im capable of doing so much more, or even something that I enjoy doing.
I work in a family business and feel that I dont want to end up with nothing else in my life apart from work which generally runs my life.

Im into all sorts and good at most things manual that I turn my hand to. Im artisitic and very proud of my work.

Should I stop moaning and get on with life or just grasp life by the balls and go for something differen and rewarding to me?

My friend and his wife split over a year ago. She recently filed for divorce. He has requested that she make one change to the divorce and he will let it go uncontested.
