Saw a question regarding how stupid Christianity looks to non-believers, read the responses and it occurred to me that if these responders were in the Middle East cracking on Islam they would all be summarily executed? And would that be a good thing?

About as good as the executions of christians in the middle east.... any religion that must be enforced under a penalty of death is a polical machine for control, not concerned with the well-being of people.

People who oppose Christianity are not "AntiChrists"!!! By definition, The Antichrist is a person who has been prophesied to falsely represent himself as the son of God, with the intention of leading true believers astray. This is not even close to being an atheist because you refuse to accept religious superstitions as the truth.

Last time I checked it was not a good thing to force people to follow a religion. One day the muslim people will wake up, smell the coffee, and quit putting up with the fundamentalist, power hungry, controlling muslims in charge of their "spiritual teachings" much as the Christians did way back when kings and queens tried to force certain forms of christianity on the people.

I never understood why those who were opposed to those they disagreed with having the right to speak don't all move to the Middle East.

I mean, that is a place with laws written by god, not by man, and it's SSSSooooooooooooooooooo peaceful.

Then its a darn good thing that we live in a nation where there IS religious freedom. Otherwise, the Catholics would be killing the protestants, the protestants would be killing the Catholics, Anabaptism would be illegal to the point of death...

You'd still be behaving like that if we hadn't stripped the Church of it's political power a few centuries ago.

You still haven't thanked us for neutering you.
