Situation happened to me the other night and need some help.. I was dealt in the hand but folded pre-flop.. 2 players remained.. player 1 bet on the flop and was called.. player 1 bet the turn and was called.. player 1 bet the river and was called.. At that point player 2 turned their cards and had top pair and player 1 who was called, mucked their hand. Is player 1 obligated to show their cards if asked?? I believe that since they were called they are obligated to show..

I am thinking of making a CD for my best friend for his birthday- who is a guy... .he'll be 23. We've known each other for over 14 years. I want something cute and special, but that's not too girly.

I prefer more upbeat songs... for example, we like Toby Keith and Brad Paisley... something fun that he'll enjoy. I'm looking for meaning in the lyrics, as well as a catchy melody. We both like old and new country, so anything goes.

Also, a bonus would be maybe topics such as motorcycles, playing together as children, being there for each other, surviving dating, drinking, etc.

Thanks!

It seems to have no buttons for adjusting brightness contrast, horizontal and vertical alignment etc. How do you fix this? Is it done by the OS instead then? I run fedora but cannot find any option to allow for monitor settings from the OS. Any ideas?

Just listened to the Nelly F song, but seriously it happens. Why is it that life just don't let you sit there and be happy?

For all intents and purposes is the Earth a perpetual motion machine as it will forever go around the Sun until one of the forces changes(ie: sun goes nova)?

Is there any energy lost in motion through space or is it perpetual?

I found this phrase on www.brake.org
"Many bikers are killed due to other drivers failing to
spot them and pulling out on them at junctions, but bikers are
also often killed due to riding at excessive speeds on bendy rural roads with pot holes, hidden junctions and other hazards."

Does anyone know where I might find exact figures?

It baffles me every time when i think about this. When school teachers gather to set examination questions, or the education ministry of any country, appoints a group to set questions for a major examination, the question papers get vetted numerous times by various people. Only after confirmation that the question papers are absolutely error free, they are sent for printing. Why so much of precaution? Because, the question papers seal the fate of the lives of numerous students and there is no margin for error. Another reason, the name of the institution who sets the paper is also at stake and its name cannot be tarnished because of errors in the question papers.
Now, if Humans can take so much precaution, how about God ? Why are there contradictions and errors in the Bible, which is supposed to be the guiding light of Christians? Ar'nt he supposed to Ensure that it is absolutely error free? We are not talking about fiction here, but God's Word. It does'nt make any sense at all .

My family moved more than 300 miles to a new home. Since we had twins born last year and a four year old, we needed help and my in-laws live near us now. My wife has found a job as an RN, which is what her previous position was as well. Are we allowed to claim the moving expenses on our taxes or does that apply only for certain circumstances which we don't qualify for? Thanks in advance.

We are attaching this to the front of our house and we are wanting something simple. This will deck will have one step all the way around the entire deck. We only want a handrail against the one edge. We want this deck to be open so people from any side of the deck can just walk onto it. I'm hoping we have enough money for this.

And does it make you want to smash your hand on a notebook while drinking your favorite alcoholic beverage when you read a question that could have easily been answered had the poster taken 30 seconds to do a search and read one of the other 200 threads posted on this very topic?

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to run to the emergency room, I think I broke my hand.

was disappointed in him and he seemed to be a better guy.
Anyway, after reading his email and then apologizing to him, I know the ball is in his court now. this waiting sucks.
Well, he has this navy show this weekend that I would like to go to as I had told him a little while ago that I would. Should I just show up and hope to see him there and that he is happy to see me? Or ask him through text if he would like for me to go to it. I don't want to seem desperate. We've only been dating a few weeks but the attraction was there. I'm so new to the dating arena (in my 30's).

Should the president be telling our enemies when we are pulling the troops out of war? i think he should not be telling this cause when we do pull them out is tells them yeah come over here and bomb us. And yeah come over here and start war in the U.S. This is not cool at all. I mean what is he thinking. I bet if Hilary was in office she wouldn't be telling our enemies nothing of the short.

I completely understand what the ACLU does and I think they are a very important piece of our culture. But sometime they have to draw the line such as parental rights, NAMBLA. Some of this stuff is ridiculous. I think as a society we need to stand up against some of these immoral judgements. Any thoughts?

I did some changes inside my home and had to re organize the coax cables. I got some 2 way and one 3 way splitter but now i see there is signal loss everywhere afecting the quality of the picture and killing the cable modem signal.

I need some recomendations about how to set up the lines and what cable ampliffier should i buy.
I read some stuff by googling and know it needs to have a return channel or something like that, and im clueless about the MHZ things,

I just made a scheme of my current setup. you can see it here:

Any suggestions and recommendations are very welcome.

Just one detail... the cable modem needs to stay where it is because i have it connected to a linux firewall and other networking stuff, i can not move it to the living room, where i know it would be the best place.

Thank you very much!
