Your right if Hillary was in power she wouldn't tell them anything. That is because she would not have been over there in the first place. I doesnt matter if the president tells the enimies when we are pulling out, they will know anyway. It will not be a huge secret when the troops pull out, people will notice. One more thing on Mrs.Clinton. If she is elected president, she will bring about a really bad time for america. Right now, we are trying to build relations with Islamic countries, if we have a Woman as the leader of the free world like H. Clinton then that would put a quick stop on that. I agree that the United States is overdue for both a minority president and a female president but not a person like h. clinton. I used to live in her district in N.Y and I can tell you, she does not care about much except for getting across the point that she is a strong independent woman. She will do a good deal for women but that is about it!

Generally no. WWII would be a pure disaster under the present congress as more U.S. soldiers died every day than were killed in Iraq since the begining of Gulf War 2.
Now you have to define pull out. The Vietnam War was a complete pull out that led to the fall of South Vietnam. Not only did the soldier leave, but the Democratic Congress refused to fund the South Vietnamese military. President Nixon did try to train the South Vietnamese to take care of themselves, but without ammo the army fell apart.
There might not be a complete pull out in Iraq, even under the Democratic plan. There will still be a few thousand U.S. soldiers there to train their police and military. The U.S. would probably also be funding the over 500,000 trained Iraqis (combination of police and soldiers).

What does it matter, first they are not our enemy, we are theirs How would you feel if the roles were reversed and the Iraqi's were here telling us how to live our lives? Let them solve their own problems, Don't you see what is happening, some of the Iraqi's want our support and some don't, leave them alone and they will find a solution, they don't need us, with us or without us they will have a civil war. with us being there the situation will only be prolonged.

Brandi B - Its your Congress that wants to tell our enemies a date, your president does not.
Robert M - Yes Iraq is a moderate Islamic state, THAT'S WHY THE EXTREMISTS ARE FIGHTING THERE! They don't like moderation. Honestly do you think you make any sense? I suppose the Sunnis and Shiites killing each other in your so-called civil war are moderate?

I don't think anyone should be telling our enemies anything other than where to get off. This goes for the blood-thirsty vultures in the media as well. I furthermore think that id Billary were in office it wouldn't matter because she'd order them home the next day.

You are dumb if you think the enemy we are supposed to be fighting (islamic extremeism) is actually in Iraq.
Compared to other middle-eastern nations, Iraq is fairly moderate.
The people blowing things up in Iraq are doing so as a part of a civil war between sunni's and shites, regardless if we are there or not, they are going to keep killing each other.

What i was wondering is that, the US does not need a Army, or a USAF, or a US Navy, and does not need to spend several hundreds of trillion dollars every year "maintaining" the same, nor is there a need to send them overseas to "fight against enemies", and all this comes out of American taxpayer money - Happy Hanukkah, Knesset. 1911.

The invasion of Kuwait became the first Gulf warfare and by no potential reason we are there a 2d time. i imagine too lots of the human beings on listed right here are watching Fox.

They know anyway. Their surveillance of us is as sophisticated as ours. They know as much or more about us as we know about ourselves. But I'm certain the president has lots of things planned before the withdrawal. So, just relax. I have full confidence in his actions. We will not be leaving before it is time.

OF COURSE NOT!
The president is resisting this. It's the Congress that wants him to do it.
