Why does it seem like the girls on the Hills can't seem to find decent boyfriends? All the guys they find are jerks to them in my opinion.

i am doing an assessment which investigates two social and cultural issues relevant to children the research has to include how the issues affect families lives-the impact these issues have on children and how this impact could vary depending on the age/stage of the child .my problem is i dont know what social and cultural issues to choose in order for me to begin these questions. please help me choose my topics you clever lot out there .

Doctor just advised me that I will be having a c-section at 34-35 weeks (which is 3-4 weeks away).
2 weeks ago I had an ultrasound & my baby weighed 3 lbs.

Since time is ticking, I want to know if there is any kinds of food that I can eat to make him grow fast & big ? I want to eat whatever will get him to grow as fast as possible, so he can gain as much weight as possible within these next couple of weeks.

Any suggestions?

He did marvoulously well.....survived all the peasants....didn't fall out with too many people....got lost a few times.....bought himself some new boxers (too small I think but still)........nearly stood in a queue even........but I had to pay.....what does this tell you???

My daughter's friend is in 8th grade and barely 13. She has been seeing her boyfriend for 1 1/2 years. Her mom completely supports this relationship, and takes him everywhere they go with them! This mom has always been super strict and protective in the past which leads me to believe that she is either niave or really dumb. This girl has told my daughter and all her other friends that she has sex with this guy. Should I ask the mom if she is aware of this?!

I sent out 4 applications to college in my states and have only heard back from one. I sent them all out by the end of February it is now almost the end of march. Is no news good news or bad? I did get accepted to one of the schools but its not my top choice and I do not want to sen a deposit just to have then return it.

No, I'm not one of those "ignorant Americans" who thinks that Spanish and Italian are the same language. In fact, I'm half-Swiss and German is my native language along with English. I learned Spanish for some time and then I took up Italian because I was inspired by a trip to Italy. I have noticed countless similarities between the two languages- similar vocabulary and similar grammar/structure. I like Italian better than Spanish but can't learn them both because I'll just confuse the two (which I've already done!). Besides, if I learn Spanish, that's an invitation that all those illegal Mexican immigrants in the US are better than me (analogy: if a guy kills himself over a girl, then that's an invitation that the girl is better than him). I'm actually hoping to move back to Switzerland, so Italian would be better. So, can the Hispanics/Spaniards understand at least the "gist" of an Italian conversation? I'd like input from native Spanish speakers, preferably.

I've noticed that one trait of successful people is that they are able to surround themselves with people who will do things for them. Whether physically doing something, or offering knowledge in a certain area this seems to be the way to go. After all, one person only has so much energy, so in a competitve society, the one who can "organize" other to do things in their favour should come out on top. Any suggestions for books, websites, or just advice in general for making this happen?
