How about looking at the factors that contribute to children's involvement in crime and delinquency, factors like social class, education, whether the father is present, family h/o criminal activity, personality theories?

Good social issues that affect children:

1. the drive to be thin can start even before puberty.
2. competition maybe, "my six year old T-ball player is better than your six year old T-ball player" parents often put pressure to win starting very early on.

Cultural:

1. Child's view of other nations. The children in America today are going to grow up hating the Arabic people, just like kids in the 1950's and on hated the Russians. This could also include parents teaching children racism, starting very early in their lives.

2. Try looking up some abstracts about social/cultural psychology studies online, you might get some really good ideas. If you have access to a university library you can usually print out eJournals of a study, which are very helpful.

-Best wishes on your paper
