It makes a lot of sense....but...they have Matt Millen calling the shots so who knows...

I am a Cleveland fan(we have the same sad situation)and I hope they drop down...but I don't expect it to happen.

If I were Detroit...I'd sign David Carr...drop down in the draft but stay in the top ten...that should get you 2 additional 2nd round picks...1 this year and 1 next...and take a dominating defensive player..

It would make sense to sign a free agent qb and trade down to get extra picks. However, with Matt Millen running the show, they'll probably draft another wr like they always do.

Detroit's best move would be to trade down and try to grab some talent for their lines, especially depth. Signing David Carr would be a great idea but $ wise would it be financial solid for the organization? Too much money is locked up in players who are not performing. before anything is done this needs to be addressed.

I read on Vic Carrucci's mock drafts on NFL.com that the Bucs may trade their #4 pick to get the Lions #2 pick to get Calvin Johnson. The Lions might get the Bucs 2nd rounder and 4th rounder in the deal. Coming froma Bucs fan, I don't like it because we need the most picks we can get, plus I still think there is a chance that we get C.J. with the 4th overall pick.

I hope they don't trade down in the draft. And it doesn't make SENSE to do so either. They should take Joe Thomas out of Wisconsin. Kitna needs protection so that he can get the chance to throw. And who is scared of our offense as it stands now? I would say, Nobody.

It makes sense, so they probably won't. When is the last time they did something that made very much sense.
