Masters of Theology is the min. requirement for most pastoral postitions. Then there is specific seminary requirements within certain churches/synagogues. Sometimes if you go to a secular school the Churches/Synagouges will give you a lost of exactly what you have to take for your electives to meet their ordination requirements.

Then there is usually a year of study while working.

These are the minimum for most religions that are denominational. And each one has a little different requirments

depends on which branch of Judaism you are talking about, and even then it depends on the amount of time and learning a person is willing to put into it
