It's usually heathly in a relationship for each person to have their own interests as well as common ones. Sometimes like the saying "opposites attract" is a very true thing. You could add strengths to eachother's weaknesses and learn new things that you would never have dreamed of doing before. I think it's a great thing unless it in anyway hurts either person by taking up too much time away from the relationship. If it leads to the relationship being neglected well then move on for sure.
