I have a puppy that is only about 10 weeks old. She has started to bite us if we correct her. For example, we have started teaching her COME by giving her treats when she does the command. When she is distracted, we will go put a finger under her collar and GENTLY pull her back in the direction we were calling her to show her what she is suppose to do. Lately she will bite at us when we do this and she is not playing. Also when we go to pick her up she does the same. We thought maybe she was tender somewhere so we checked her over and she is fine. We have 2 other dogs that never did this. When our older dogs do something wrong we tell them to lay down and on to their side and we stand over them. I just don't know if it is too early to do this to a 10 week old puppy, make them submit. My husband tried it and she freaks out for a minute but then finally calms down but it did not help the issue. How should I correct her dominance/aggression behavior?
