Hi all, I bought an iPod Shuffle (1GB) today, and I am trying to charge it and it is taking hours. Way longer than the 4 hours Mac says it takes.

The USB is plugged into the computer as directed.

Can anyone help? I have tried the Mac support webpage and everything.

Thanks

Hey. I've got an iPod video, and ran into the same problem. The computer just seems to take too long. What I would recommend is to buy a wall charger, or an iHome (boom box that 'dock's the iPod, charging while you listen to tunes on it's speakers). These will run $20-100, but either will charge your iPod MUCH faster.

If you buy a wall charger it takes like 2 hours to fully charge the comp does take awhile if you turn on the comp and off the ipod its shorter

there is not anybody answer for what's "acceptable on the industry." you could desire to think of of roughly your desires & desires, and determine that could acceptable healthful you. think of of roughly what you enjoyed optimal approximately yours, and what it lacked, and how you is many times applying it. the finished element touching directly to the shuffle is the cost and the portability. the finished element touching directly to the huge iPod is the aptitude, the menus, and the huge show. the finished element touching directly to the nano is the marriage of the various 2, with the drawbacks of each and every. You get a coloration show and menus, plus a smaller, extra compact format than the huge one. yet you get a fraction of the aptitude of the huge iPod, in a gadget it is now not extremely as compact or portable because of actuality the shuffle (inspite of the actuality that could desire to be stricken approximately show harm, and so on). quicker or later i'll probably get a nano. yet ideal now, i like having the various 2, one for extreme portability, and one for being waiting to take my finished great library with me jointly as i choose it.
