Sounds like you are dissatisfied with your pay in relation to your job.

Presumably you have spoken to your boss concerning your remuneration before, and that you have not gotten a positive respond to your request, hence you made a decision to resign from your job.

Under normal terms of employment, if you have submitted your letter of resignation and live out your obligation of your terms of employment on serving notice, your boss does not need to sign any acknowledgement of your resignation.

All you have to do is to serve out your part of the obligation of servicing of your resignation notice terms & conditions to the last day of your duty should suffice.

After that, you are free to leave the employment and say goodbye to an unappreciative employer and free to find another who appreciates your work and pays you accordingly.

Good luck!!

You are one of millions who do a great deal of work but are unfairly compensated. The fact that you submitted a resignation letter to your supervisor states that you have professional courtesy. It does not require a signature. You can leave and with confidence, state of future applications that you were not fired. Most supervisors have egos, so your boss is not different. As a matter of fact, he is probably underpaid as well, and misery loves company.

You have fulfilled your responsibilities in resigning. Hopefully you have learned that if you want to experience financial success, it will not happen at a job!

Best wishes...

welcome to the real world... Employers expect you to do more and paid less. But really if you are serious about resigning then I would write a second letter and state that your last day of work will be ____. Also send one to your human resource department if you have one...Your boss will either take you seriously or not but he definitely will when you don't show up for work on the following day.

Good luck...

surely a letter of resignation is a letter from you saying you are leaving so your boss doesnt have to sign it - just go and get another job. he is obviously a rubbish boss!

you don't have to have your boss approval for resigning, you gave her/him the letter, he/she read it and thats it.. go start looking for a new job, and make sure it will be not the same as the one you just resigned from...good luck!!

.Employer cannot reject an employee's resignation. The employee has the right to resign at any time by serving the required notice or by compensating the employer salary in-lieu of notice.
