My main issue is my father and I, right now I am 21 the oldest and yes I still live at home when I go out and party with my friends I dont feel that I should tell my parents for fear that I might be in trouble for drinking, I am trying to figure out a way that I can communicate with my parents to express the feelings that I am having because it will soon build up in to an explosion but I know if I try to sit and talk to them with my father I am afriad that he will get mad at me and cuss me out (even as I 'm writing this I am having a mini-panic attack) with my mother she doesnt take me seriously and always laughs at me when I try to express my self so I dont ever really get to express my feelings when I do it comes out after being held in for so long and results in a massive fight because I hear my parents talking about me behind my back I would really appreciate any adive that is given

I’m a bit slow getting off the train and sometimes people run along the platform towards the end of the train instead of simply boarding where the train stops in front of them. If I am at the end of the carriage nearest the middle of the train I get people running towards me as I’m trying to get off. If people want to board the end of the train, why don’t they wait there to begin with?

I lifeguard at this big pool in my home-town. This patron came up to me the other day and asked whether he had to pay to use an inner-tube. I said yes and he got mad. He wouldn't accept my apologies, though I was very polite.

I told the guy I had to watch my water, but after I turned back to the pool, he lifted up the back of my chair (it's a big rolling lifeguard stand) and rolled it forward before I could get off! The front wheels dropped off the edge with a huge jar.

At that point the head guard ran over to deal with the situation, but the guy pretty much went nuts (I think he had mental problems) and tried to sock the head lifeguard.

The head guard is this really buff dude, and he knocked the patron into the pool. I don't know if he was hurt, or just couldn't swim, but the patron started drowning, and I had to make a rescue. The head guard kicked him out and told me not to put in his role (knocking the patron in) on the paperwork I now have to fill out. What should I do?

Is it one of these or a mixture of some of these or all of these?I am trying to understand the need for religion. What drives it?In my experience everything that religious people describe as the reason why they believe, usually falls into one of these.

What really makes religion so influential? What is the main driving force?

My 79 year old grandmother went in to have a hysterectomy last Monday. She was in good health other than needing the hysterectomy due to her uterus dropping. She was given a bowel prep to do the night before. She started vommiting a couple of hours after drinking it and continued to vommit all night. When she arrived at the hospital for her surgery, she was still vomitting. The doctor told her he was going to go ahead with the surgery. During anaesthesia she vomitted and aspirated it into her lungs. The doctor says he put a "plug" in her throat that should have blocked the vommit and doesn't know why it didn't work. She is now on a ventilator and has pneumonia. She has been this way for a week. I know that this could have been prevented. I don't understand why the doctor went ahead and tried to do the surgery anyway. Also, if a medical person reads this, what are the chances of her comming off the ventilator?

Hi, i was wondering what kind of money you can earn as a head chef of a restaurant in melbourne. The restaurant is in Brighton and its very nice but not super classy. Im not sure what the weekly turnover is but a main would cost about $30 to give you an indication.

Ok, I have a number of dogs in my life. I loved most of them, some more than others. We have a german shepherd. He will be 1 thursday. I am having a birthday party for him. I am making a doggy cake for him and pet cupcakes for our other two dogs and 3 cats. We get people cake, naturally. And we all get a bit of ice cream. And all of us (pets included) have party hats. He gets presents from everyone. Same thing I do for my kids. My husband is miffed. He says I have gone overboard. The party set it off. Jack has his own vest with his name on it. A coat and boots for winter. Baskets of bones and toys. A bed in his crate. I take him with me just about everywhere I go, when he can't he goes to the puppy spa. He eats what I do (just specially made for him, no salt, onions, etc....)This dog is more devoted me to than any person I have met. I wouldn't want that out of another human...Spooky. What is your thoughts? Do you think I have gone overboard as he says?

As far as I know "English" is an uncountable noun, and the determiner "how much" is used with such nouns.
