Is there a question in there? All languages have their anomolies. From the point of view of learning it I think the pronunciation is probably the most difficult. And the fact that every single rule of grammar and spelling has exceptions and the exceptions are never consistant. Though the grammar itself is fairly simple. Also, it's not taught in English schools so most people don't really know how to use it properly, but, you could also argue that it is an organic language and therefore how it is actually used is correct.
