There are many schools all around the world and this is a broad area of study. A good program would provide you with a broad foundation, but you will want to concentrate on some aspect of art history. That will help you in selecting a school with a program that is best suited to you.

At the undergraduate level, art history is divided into general categories such as: ancient, medieval and renaissance, modern, contemporary. The faculty and programs will probably have greater strengths in some areas than others.

Are you interested in strictly fine arts or perhaps also history of design, history of architecture? Knowing that would also help in selecting a school.

Are you interested in conservation and preservation--hands on working with artworks and restoring them? Are you interested in criticism and analysis--interpreting meaning to others? Are you interested in discovery--clarifying importance of archeological finds or spotlighting an unknown digital artist who is working right now?

As you are narrowing your choices, I would ask about options for study abroad. Most schools have such programs or are part of a group that offers such experiences and I think that would be really important for you. If Greek sculpture or African tribal masks are your thing, you'll want to go and study in those homelands if you can.

Is the school in an area with good museums and galleries? Does it have its own collection of art? Can you intern with a museum or gallery as part of your education?

You need to define what you are seeking more specifically if you hope to get advice that is targeted to your strengths and interests. Good luck.
