absolutely not any shot outside the 3 point line regardless of how far away is only worth 3 points

You're kidding me right?
Anything outside the 3 point line is exactly that, 3 POINTS.
The only way it could be 4 points is if the shot is made and the shooter is fouled at the same time. Then makes the free throw given with the foul. But even then "technically" the shot itself is only worth 3 points.
Kid, you shouldn't listen to everything your friends tell you!!

Only 3 points. Not unless there is a foul committed and that person made the 3 point shot then got 1 point from the free throw line then it would be a 4 point play.

No even if you make a half court shot it still is only three points if it goes in.

Answering this question means stereotyping. Some of the point may be true for some for some time. Not necessarily all points will be true for all women all time. Hence, it is a good question but respect Woman as she is is the answer.

They were considering applying that rule, but it has never been applied. It still is a 3 point shot.

Put down your crack pipe, buddy -- no way and its never even been considered. You can shoot the ball from the parking lot and it'd only get you three. (Or three free throws if someone was in the parking lot and fouled you.)
