i was reading some of the other questions on this website and i came across one that said if you add salt to the water it will make the fish healthier and happy is this true i never knew that if it is. i have a 30 gallon tank with guppies,blue plattys etc...

WASHINGTON - A Yemeni portrayed as an al-Qaida operative and a member of a terrorist family confessed to plotting the bombings of the USS Cole and two U.S. embassies in Africa, killing hundreds, according to a Pentagon transcript of a Guantanamo Bay hearing.

The transcript released Monday was the fourth from the hearings the military is holding in private for 14 "high-value" terror suspects who were kept in secret CIA prisons before they were sent to the U.S. facility in Cuba last fall.

So who is next? Another "detainee" or "enemy combatant" ? Will all of those involved in the "terrorist" attack mysteries finally be solved? including 911.?

I just wanted to add more details about my question...my boyfriend slept with prostitutes in the past over 10 years ago...he pays equal rent...i just graduated from my masters and am looking for a job...he used to be so affectionate, would leave me gifts at home, call me everyday, plan fun things to do, etc. As soon as he got in, he stopped all this. I believe him that he did not cheat. Some of his colleagues were there and they were busy 24/7...anyway...he usually ignores me...coming home at 10 afterwork...he said he was giving me space...i said we need to go on dates...he said its always about me...i feel like he hates me...he said that we need to "want" each other...he says his feelings have changed and that time will tell what will happen...i feel awful...i told him to leave that it would be better that way...he said okay...but then just didnt really say anything...he said we can be friends after ive said that almost everyday for the past month bc i wanted to get a reaction...

I want to go to this summer program/camp. You can earn college credit and looks good on my college application. It is somewhat like a "once in a high school life chance" because few are selected to take advantage of it. The only problem is ... it is about $2300. My mom won't pay for it and I can't get that much money by summer (I am going to be a junior...but right now I am 15...no job for me.....) Do you think I can write to Bill Gates asking for a donation so I can go to this program. I heard he REALLY supports education. I really want to go and better yet, the program involves technology =]

Today I turned in a project to my professor- the project was composed of two parts, each part consisting of a 10-page test, score sheet, and data sheet. My professor explained all he needed was the score sheet and data sheet from only one part of the project. When I told him I was prepared to turn both parts in, he answered in a matter of fact, but not harsh tone, "That's because you're compulsive." I don't think this was intended as an insult. What do you think he meant?

Ok, so I've read alot of answers on here from Christians and Atheists both and I've got to ask something. Let me just say right now that I'm not trying to offend anyone in asking this, I'm just curious. Alot of the answers I've read from Atheists have stated that God today is portrayed by the Christians to be a hateful God, and how Christians do awful things in His name. Now my question is what has made you think that? What event, what happened to give you that opinion. There is a quote that I really like and pertains. "God is peace, like calm water. But it only takes one person to throw a stone in and make the water muddy." Just because some Christians have done bad things in the name of Christ doesn't mean He condones it. In ANY religion there are extremists that do bad things. How can you assume(and I don't mean all atheists because I know not all assume this) that just because some Christians do bad things that all do? What makes you think God, or Christians are hateful?

I just read that Victoria Beckam has won a 10million deal with ABC to star in her reality how surrounding her move to America.
I mean this is insane, why are celebrities being awarded more money for being rich?
I think it's sick! O.k, I understand TV provides entertainment bcoz otherwise our lives would be boring, but why spend such a ridiculous amount to pay Posh Spice? Where is this money coming from?
There are lots of people in this world working to make a difference , and this money could have been shared between them as a big bonus for their hardwork eg; the law enforcement cops, nurses, teachers,humanitarian doctors & volunteers..

That 10 million will go to shopping more fashion labels,a new car, or more toys for their spoilt kids???

A few days ago, I back my car and accidently hit the curb. Now my car is making really loud noises (like a truck) coming the exhaust system or the right corner of the back of the car. I think it could be that my muffler is broken because I heard noises coming out of it. My car is not that old so should I get it repair or replace the muffler? I think the muffler is the only part that was broken, not the pipes or exhaust system.
