Here's a good start. Pushups, pushups, and more pushups.

Also, long distance running.

Depending on what you have planned for that day you may or may not do formal excersize. But you are definetely guranteed to do some sort of physical labor every day. But for formal PT, just work on upper body strength. Also work on endurance. So that means start running! The shortest distance you'll run in boot camp is 1 1/2 miles. So start off at that distance and work your way up to 3 for the PFT. If you can complete 3 miles in under 28 minutes you can pass the run. But 28 minutes is the maximum amount of time, try aiming for 21 minutes and under. But the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) is a joke. You'll will definetely get your *** kicked if you try using any of that in real life. But you practice MCMAP maybe couple weeks altogether during phase 1. Not much besides endurance (like i said earlier) and coordination. Pull ups are also very important! Do as many pull ups as you can before starting bootcamp.

The bulk of PT for bootcamp are running and push ups. Hand to hand is only maybe a few lessons.

Hand to hand combat is only practiced on occasion. It was one of my favorite activities. Good luck. You want to go to MCRD San Diego if you can.

This is a GREAT link to help you out with your workout.
PUSH-UPS, PUSH-UPS and more PUSH-UPS !!!!
