My Sweet 16 was AMAZING! People still talk about so now I need to do something that will top that! I had it outside and had everyone dress formally in either black or white (I, of course wore red) and we had all the decorations black and white with white christmas lights. It was really nice and sophisticated. I like the whole sophisticated thing so I want something similar to that. Anybody have any ideas?

I was sick and this was our final unit. our instructor said no exceptions no changes. ive been struggling with really serious depression and way litterally having trouble going through the day. i wasnt able to make it to class because i felt so bad, but i forgot today was the last day to turn in our whole unit! i did all the work and now im going to miss a very big portion of my grade! this is also the end of the quarter. what should i do?

I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who helped me on my essay today. A majority of you gave me excellent answers, wich really helped me out. I finished it now, and with all the help I got, I will be passing English now. This was a huge essay, so thank you oh so much!

What would be the best example of their work? And what sub-genres do they write in? Feel free to list more than one.

I personally would put:

J. R. R. Tolkien (High/Epic Fantasy); "Lord of the Rings"
Orson Scott Card (Science Fantasy); "Enchantment," "Enders Game"
Terry Brooks (High Fantasy, Urban Fantasy); "Druid of Shannara," "Angel Fire East"
Elizabeth Moon (Military Sci-Fi); the "Vatta War" series

There's some other awesome authors out there, but those are the ones I would label as the ultimate masters of the trade. What about you?

it was red nose day the other day,and they were screening a documentary on all the less priveledged people in the world that are dying and falling apart due to aids and annorexia. This was being screened in the staff room at work,and all my collegues could mutter was: Good its better for world population and,WELL ITS NOT MY PROBLEM,WHO CARES... etc etc. I mean,if it was a relative of them would they still be saying the same thing? whats becoming of us??

We have almost finalized our plans to go to Bangalore- Hampi-Badami-Dandeli-Gokarna in Mid-April for 7-8 days. Do you have suggestions for a better route in Maharashtra during the same time for..something starting in Mumbai since the weather might be slightly better there? Surgical scars don't count, unless you had to have the surgery because of an accident. Only accidents, or just plain stupidity. What caused it and where is it?
I spilled boiling water on my face and chest. Luckily I only have one tiny scar on my neck, but the blistering was UGLY!!!

In my opinion I think that it's good to have animals and when you have kids to raise them around animals. It teaches kids responsibility and respect for animals. Plus it teaches them that animals have feelings just like people do. I believe animals can be their best friend at times.

This is from a country artist (I'm not sure weather he wrote the song or not) but you can feel the emotic he has for this. My question is, if a man who makes millions singing can do this to show our troops that we do care, and there are those who understand them, why do people on here find it so hard to do?
