2 Timothy 3:1-5 shows that the human heart, in the majority of cases, will be turned away from righteousness and love and compassion and will be rooted in selfishness. BUT--TAKE HEART The Bible also talks about how God is looking for those who are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are taking place in our day and he is marking those ones to survive into the real life where these conditions no longer exist. If that is your hope, share it with everyone so that you may find a few that also are dismayed. If you are searching for the answers yourself, reach out and find them in the Bible and amongst those who are truly trying to live in the way that God approves. You will not be disappointed.

Well aids and anorexia is not the only reason people die.
Also because of smoking and things like that.
Anorexia is for insecure people.
I was watching Dr.Phil this anorexic chic thinks that she is always bloated it was gross to look at her she was practically a Skeleton.

It's scary how desensitized people are to suffering. As an animal lover I can't believe more people don't take a stand to stop inhumane treatment of animals to test luxury products. I can't believe more people don't protest that the US is responsible for many deaths because of our war.

As cold and mean spirited as it sounds, famine and disease is natures way of controlling population. The more populated we get the worse the diseases will get.
What you have witnessed is survival of the fittest, like it or not it is life.

What you are describing is certainly showing that the Bible prophecies do come true, for (Matthew24:12) tells us that the Love of the greater number of people would cool off and it certainly has done, wouldn't you say?

It may sound like a cliche, but we are all connected.
To 'not care' about others, is only a symptom of not knowing this.
We are not separate. You cannot separate 'things' or 'people'.
To believe otherwise is a great delusion of reality.

The further we get away from God, the harder our hearts get. Even the behavior of some of the Christians on this sight seems harsh to me.

Well if more people would listen to Jesus we would have less of these types of problems.
I hate to say this but we live in a world that is closer to the gates of hell.
