"Homophobia" takes its place as one of the strangest words to enter the political lexicon:

Homo: Same

Phobia: An exaggerated and often disabling fear usually inexplicable to the subject .

Hence, somebody who is 'homophobic' has an irrational fear of somebody like him or her. Used in connection with homosexuality, a homophobe is a homosexual who has an irrational aversion to either other homosexuals or to homosexuality itself. That is, of course, not what is meant by those who use the term to cast aspersion on those who disagree with them. Name-calling is always irrational and a sure sign somebody is losing an argument.

The Bible teaches that sexual relationships outside of heterosexual marriage is sinful. I have no more a phobia about homosexuality than I do about fornication.

I agree, rational dislike or disapproval is not phobic.

You hate the sin, not the person.

EXCELLENT example of this was last summer. The Amish had a shooting at a school and several kids died. Did they seek justice on this man? Did they string up a rope for this man? No. They forgave this man instantly but put down the act of murder.

Amish are the closest we have to a perfect religion in the USA. More should pay attention to them for morals and wisdom. For they are not blinded by TV, cars, and all the toys, they see man himself.

"why cant a heterosexual male convey his very own dislike of gay intercourse without being branded as homophobe?" What do mean with the help of "convey your dislike"? >"activity possibility for a heterosexual male actor" an exceedingly exciting way of defectling a question and shifting on in the interview. i anticipate he replace into responding to a particular question. everybody has a strategies in the direction of issues. you be attentive to, it is not correct how diplomatic somebody tries to be, somebody else will consistently be indignant! it rather is a project if somebody is going out of their thank you to make a think approximately their very own adversions or dislikes in the direction of something.

Homosexuality is neither an act nor a sin.

now, ACTING UPON those impulses, upon same sex impulses, can very legitimately be considered a Sin, and it IS an action to be disapproved of.

disliking homosexuals IS descrimination just as disliking someone due to their skin color. it is a personality and biological trait as designed by God.

if you were to claim that it was NOT designed by God, then you are basically saying there is a power other than God that can go against God/s will. in which case you have a pretty weak God.

if you are claiming its a choice... well thats simply foolish.

People preach "tolerance" and leave people alone to do what they want to do - it's none of your business etc., etc. Where is the love in that? Sin kills. Shall I leave someone alone to commit suicide without trying to intervene? If I truly love the person, would I just ignore what is destroying them? I love them enough to raise a voice against the sin that is destroying their soul.
