I have a red rash on the crease of my thighs, I have used Caneston but the infection seems to reoccur.

The best cream available for this is lamisal (terbinafine) cream. Its a once daily application only, use it for at least five days after the infection has gone also or it can recur quickly. Try to keep the area as dry as possible in the meantime.

You can buy it now from supermarkets (marketed for athletes foot but its the same cream!) Both are fungal infections.

Canesten and hydrocortison cream available from chemist works quite well, but if its really bad you may need to see gp for something more specific. Dont be embarrassed, its very common.
