We have almost finalized our plans to go to Bangalore- Hampi-Badami-Dandeli-Gokarna in Mid-April for 7-8 days. Do you have suggestions for a better route in Maharashtra during the same time for..something starting in Mumbai since the weather might be slightly better there? We are interested in off-beat places, secluded beaches, lush green forest, may be yoga/ayurveda.

I would suggest you to visit Kerala, the nearest state of Karnataka, if you are looking for sandy beaches, greenery and ayurvedic resorts etc.

Mid April in Maharashtra is peak school holiday season so all tourist spots are packed. Also its hot and humid as hell - but probably no worse than Karnataka ! Your existing itinerary is good. Hampi is really worth seeing - tip: start early to avoid crowds, print out info from the internet because the guides there are not so well informed. Dandeli is a WLS which should be good. Maharashtra also has plenty of WLS, but Dandeli would be more evergreen forests. Set out early for wildlife spotting. Gokarna and the entire Karwar coast is really nice. I dont think that many tourists go there whereas places like Alibag, Bordi or Ganpatipule in Maharashtra are crowded in season and over commercialised. Coorg is also supposed to be a lush green area. Shimoga and Chikmaglur districts of Karnataka are also densely forested. Jog Falls area near Karwar is beautiful but at this period there may not be much water to 'fall'! Yoga and Ayurveda treatments are available everywhere. PS: Hope the Karnataka roads are in better condition than the Maharashtra roads. Personally, Kerala is a much better VFM holiday destination for beaches, forests, ayurveda, tourist-friendliness etc and is always lush green year round, but mid April is holiday time everywhere. Enjoy your trip.

Go to any place in KONKAN area you will not repent having visited there and you will feel like staying there permanently. In some distant areas in Konkan you have to carry your own food since you will not find what you want but the natural beauty is just heavenly the best season to visit is the rainy season.

previously , there was once diverse fares on airlines for indians and distant places nationals, yet now i think of that has been abolished. As for different hotels additionally i think of maximum hotels fee the comparable value, different than some. For different issues, nicely, relies upon on the kind you pay. If u do use your worldwide mastercard, then ur mastercard corporation will fee approximately 2 %, so it truly is greater useful to pay funds

If you want to focus your trip on seeing people, you should choose Maharastra but if you focus on seeing the nature, Karnataka would be a better place.
