My boss came to me and told me that I was to get a raise and several other of my co-workers were going to as well. My co workers would ask me about any raises coming up and I told them what my boss had said. Turns out I am the only one who got the raise. I know I messed up by running my mouth. But what should I do now?

My friend recently had a D & C procedure and I don't know much about it. She has asked me some questions concerning whether what she is going through is normal or not. She got it (the procedure) this past Friday. She didn't bleed for 2 days and then started bleeding really bad and hurting really bad where she had to stay on pain medication. She's even had to miss work because of the pain. She is calling her doctor today but I was hoping to hear what other people have gone through so I can ease her mind a little bit. She also said that she has been feeling nausiated the past couple of days. So for people that have had this procedure, can you tell me what happened to you afterwards, I guess like the side effects? Thanks!

my husband and i recently lost our jobs which put us a month behind on our rent. the day i finally got a job even though it didn't pay a lot my landlord told us we had 10 days to get out. this was difficult due to my new work schedule and i told her that as well as needing time to get a place to stay. on the 13th day i finished work and proceeded to the house to move some of my things when i got there she had gone into my house and took all of our keys and locked us out. my husband had to climb through the dogs door just for us to get our bed and a few clothes. I know that it is illegal to lock a tenant out but i want to know if it would be worth my time to persue as a case and if so what i need to do.

I am not Jewish myself, and I am not attempting to be insulting. It is just that despite my best efforts to try to pose my questions tactfully in a conversation, they do not seem to come out that way – at least not to me. Therefore, I find writing it out helps to take away the offensive connotations that might be mistakenly inferred from my inquiry.

So my questions for those of you that know is, (as I posed in my title), what are those little hats called that Jewish males wear? As well, why do the women not wear them? I see plenty of my college peers wearing them all day – but only like on certain days. Is there a specific time you are supposed to wear it? What does it represent? Many questions I know. Nevertheless, if you can answer all or just some of these questions, I would really appreciate it. I was just interested in gaining a little knowledge about this. Thanks.

My internal reaction is "I am not a Thomas Guide. Go find a gas station." I feel this way from experience- you give these dolts who can read maps directions, and you are always either too simple/not enough info or too detailed/complicated. AND THEY BLAME YOU FOR NOT FOLLOWING ALONG! It is a thankless, frustrating pain in the neck...

my friend had the IVF procedure done and after the doc implanted the eggs 4 of them becasue the doc said that its better to put them all at once becasue they were not developing properly and the doc didint want to freeze n e so he implanted all of them after two weeks my friend when to get a blood pregnancy test but it came out negative... is there a change that it takes longer for the result to come out possitive? and she still has to pay for the loan even if it dosent work which sucks... and has no more eggs frozen?? what are the options if n e one knows n e advise will do thanks..
