I was walking in my neighborhood and noticed a Red poster on a door across the street, It said Quarantined- Scarlet Fever, I couldn't get close enough to read any more,
I stood there for a moment , got this sad and eerie feeling, then turned and went home.

Scarlet fever is caused by the strep organism. It is treatable with penicillin, if you are not allergic to it. Sometimes quarantine is necessary until it is cleared up in a house.

I can totally understand -- I had rheumatic fever and whooping cough when I was younger. It is very sad to see such curable diseases still around in this day and age, isn't it?
