my friend had the IVF procedure done and after the doc implanted the eggs 4 of them becasue the doc said that its better to put them all at once becasue they were not developing properly and the doc didint want to freeze n e so he implanted all of them after two weeks my friend when to get a blood pregnancy test but it came out negative... is there a change that it takes longer for the result to come out possitive? and she still has to pay for the loan even if it dosent work which sucks... and has no more eggs frozen?? what are the options if n e one knows n e advise will do thanks..

Unfortunately, that is the chance a woman takes with IVF. There is no guarantee that it will work and she still has to pay for the doctor's efforts. If she was pregnant, she should have gotten a positive result now. She has to decide how many more times she wants to try and factor in the expense of it all. I wish her the best. Just be there as her friend and support her.

The blood test is very accurate. Your poor friend has to be devastated!!

She will be able to recoup some of the money. Tell her to save all the bills even form the med's. And figure up her gas mileage from her house to the Doc. office.(both ways) And any co-pays and anything else medical. She will be able to use these as a tax write off....
