i know some ppl say its nice to blush but i swear to god i look disgusting when i blush.. i turn like.. really red.. like i have a problem or something.. so if you know how to cover it up.. when your put on the spot.. please tell me.. or how to do it mentally.. ok i would be SO grateful.

i'm in my early 50s. as a girl, the biggest deal in the hood was when a woman was raped in our lobby. we NEVER heard of serial killers until richard speck seemed to start it all with his mass murder of nurses in chicago.

today, it is not abnormal that a young man, perhaps 40, will mutilate his ex wife or ex girlfriend via tying her up in a basement, smacking her on the head with a hammer, cutting her face and her chest, towards her heart, punching her in the face, and lighting a torch in order to burn her, just so that, per his jaded mind, he will "hurt" her the way "she" hurt him.

and that is not the worst example that we can come up with, is it? in the past 40 years in the united states, violence of all sorts has risen dramatically, serial rapes and killings and dismemberments are almost considered normal!

why do we allow this? where are our morals? where are our values? is it okay that just "anything" goes these days, as was allowed in the fall of Rome?

I have just bought a pci card and upgraded my USB to 2.0. I put in the driver cd and got this warning!!!
"The VIA pci to USB enhanced host controller has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatability with windows xp.. This driver has not been digitally signed."
Can anyone recomend a usb 2.0 that works with windows?

Hi i really need help i feel confused and i don't know is it normal or not im in a steady relationship with a guy we've been together for a year and half and i know he loves me so much and i love him too i feel safe with him and happy he asked me to marry him and i was overwhelmed my family was a lil against him at first ot because he is bad they like him just some family problems and finally they agreed the problem is everything was fine i finally got what i wanted they said yes but i feel scared of marriage another thing thats confusing me is my best friends brother we were together ever since we were 12 me her and her older bro .Me and him are so alike . i used to have a crush on him but nothing happened so i took it as he only thought of me as a sis then he went to study out and I met my boyfriend . ...not every word is said verbatim all the time by native Spanish-speakers. Some of the words seem to flow together as if it was one word. Why is that? Is it like contractions in English (is not-isn't)?

When Brendon posted that question about praying for amputees, it was the old argument- if God can do miracles, why doesn't he do obvious ones like regrowing limbs instead of having someone recover from an illness when it could have just happened naturally.

I'm actually curious why so many believe in miracles without seeing something obvious like a missing limb grown back. Not to knock anyone's faith, but how do you see that lack of obvious miracle, and believe in miracles anyway?
