Hi i really need help i feel confused and i don't know is it normal or not im in a steady relationship with a guy we've been together for a year and half and i know he loves me so much and i love him too i feel safe with him and happy he asked me to marry him and i was overwhelmed my family was a lil against him at first ot because he is bad they like him just some family problems and finally they agreed the problem is everything was fine i finally got what i wanted they said yes but i feel scared of marriage another thing thats confusing me is my best friends brother we were together ever since we were 12 me her and her older bro .Me and him are so alike . i used to have a crush on him but nothing happened so i took it as he only thought of me as a sis then he went to study out and I met my boyfriend . Her bro came back and ever since he knew im getting engaged he's been acting different kinda hurt and its making me feel guilty . I feel so confused its driving me crazy

Have you ever seen the movie " My best friends wedding" with Julia Roberts.
Your situation sounds a lot like the movie.
As far as your friend not making a move on you before, he was probably afraid of ruining your friendship but realized when he was away how much he really loved and cared about you.
If your parents have or had reservations about the guy you are engaged to you should seriously take their concerns into consideration. They just want what's best for you.
I don't know if I would make a life long commitment after just 1 1/2 years.
Talk to your friends brother and find out how he's feeling, and let him know how you're feeling there may be more chemistry there then you realize.

don't be confused. what you feel for the friend of your bro is just brotherly love. you said you love your bf very much. question? are you willing to lose your bf for this friend of your bro? why feel guilty? nothing is going on between the two of you. girl,don't every attempt to hurt your bf. he has done nothing wrong to you.
