So, I have a Samsung LCD tv with 2 HDMI plugs and I know that my HD DVR cable box also has an HDMI plug. If I connect an HDMI cable to the TV, do I still need all the other audio in/out (yellow, red, white cables) to be plugged in?

I guess my question is, by connecting the hdmi cable from my tv to the cable box, what do I remove from the current setup? Is it the audio in/out lines or is it the cable wire?

There was a black & white "Alien Invasion" flick from the 50's or 60's in which, at the very end, after the aliens have been done away with, the Earth saved, and the Good Guys are driving off into the Sunset, as the picture is fading to black, on the sound track, the audience hears a screeching CRASH!
(Like all the aliens WEREN'T killed, and one got the CAR!)

I have a good amount of scrap platinum left over from a machining job, and it's worth good money if I can find a place that will refine / recycle it and buy it. I don't want to use a jewler, b/c they rip you off... and some of the places I found on line seem suspicious. Most of the reputable refiners only work with corporations. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I love this guy, he's phenomenal with a glove. His hitting majorly improved in 2006, and looks like he's staying on that track. Last night he had a HR and a 2B. This guy is awesome, but since he's on a losing team, I wonder if anyone knows that?

If you apply for a job at a company that primarily speaks one language, should persons who cannot speak that language be allowed to go to the interviews with them?
Not talking about sign language, but language interpreters.
My thought is this though- you will need one for the interview, but wouldnt you also need one to learn how to do the job correctly?

I know you cannot discriminate on things like that- but we all know some people would do that. What are your thoughts on it?
