There was a black & white "Alien Invasion" flick from the 50's or 60's in which, at the very end, after the aliens have been done away with, the Earth saved, and the Good Guys are driving off into the Sunset, as the picture is fading to black, on the sound track, the audience hears a screeching CRASH!
(Like all the aliens WEREN'T killed, and one got the CAR!)

Wow, Grizz...a real toughie, there----the only one that even remotely comes to mind from your description is "Invasion of the Saucermen"---not that I remember that particular scene, but it fits the mood of the movie----what with disembodied alien hands crawling around in automobiles and injecting people with alcohol, and all...Paul Blaisdell's bug-eyed, big-brained aliens were the best part of that movie by far---

Just a shot in the dark here.... but i'm going to guess either the old war of the worlds or Earth Vs. the flying saucers..... (those are the only two 50's alien invasion movies that come to mind right now.)
