it depends on the age, my daughter who is three and a half wouldn't like it, she prefers somthing more visual, but for an older child, i think they would really like that.

I don't know about the audio books, it depends how old your little girl is, but if she can read wouldn't it be better to get her a personalised paper book? Obviously it's up to you, but I had a personalised book when I was 4 (27 years ago....damn!) and I still treasure it now. I will be getting both my kids personalised books for Christmas this year, I always encourage them to do as much reading as possible.

I've always thought these things were awful, even as a child, but if she's still quite young, maybe about 5ish she'll probably love it.
