I love this guy, he's phenomenal with a glove. His hitting majorly improved in 2006, and looks like he's staying on that track. Last night he had a HR and a 2B. This guy is awesome, but since he's on a losing team, I wonder if anyone knows that?

Yeah, I watched him play last year. He is going to be a good shortstop. He got off to a little slow start last year but was a pretty clutch hitter at the end of the season. You're right about his glove - its a Hoover and he has a cannon for an arm. He can make any play from the hole that any superstar SS in the league can.

He is 25 years old, bats near the end of the lineup because his on base percentage is fairly low. He can hit for sure with some power and can steal a bag . I think he had 11 stolen bases last year , but that should improve. He is only going to get better or looks like he has the talent to , you never know about injuries .

Not to be mean, but he is no Jeter. He is an average shortstop in the field. But he is just average with the bat. A career .280 or so hitter. No power. But he does make good contact - does not strike out a lot. But only walked 17 times in 558 at bats.
If he becomes more selective at the plate, he could improve a lot.

I have heard of him. He is an okay shortstop. He can always do better next year. I just didn't like that the Mariners gave A-Rods #3 to him.
