I work for a no kill animal shelter. So many people come in and just "pick out" an animal. It might match the furniture or maybe it looks cute. People get upset when I ask them to come and visit the animal again or when I tell them they need more time with the animal. Why can't people spend time with the animal. Get to know the animal and then choose the one that is right for the family.

I know this girl who she mostly talks about her and HER problems only on the phone, to me...never really asking me how I am doing or how I feel. She was in love with her boyfriend, and when he dumped her, all she could do was trash talk him and so on. Now she keeps on telling me how she wants to be his friend, and so on...though he most likely cheated on her, HAS always lied to her,etc. She says she thinks he's okay, but I want to tell her that she's falling into his trap! She won't listen to me though. What can I do?

I am not sure about the storyline, I watched it like 5-10 years ago..... It's about a blind guy who is very accurate and precise with a sword. I remember one scene where he threw up an apple and then cut it in half, or the other one where he cut the guy in half (through the waist), and the guy fell out of the building or something. I don't remember the main actor in that movie, but for some reason I think it's Michael Douglas. Anyway, if you know and can tell me the name of this movie that would be awesome!!! I really miss the sword slashing action.......
