Since romance is a woman thing I am sure us men have to do it regardless we deem it necessary or not. But hey I'll give this q a go.
First I would blind fold my woman and take her for a car ride. We would go to the river where I have made arrangements with a folding table, two chairs, candles, jam box of romantic music and all this in a gazebo. We would dinner and dance under the pale moon light while the stars flickered off the waters like the twinkling in my eye for my woman.

Anything a man does to make an effort. A suprise is always good. Not leaving all the decisions and organising up to the girl. A man cooking for me is great. (If he can cook.) Setting the mood; my favourite drink, candles, romantic music, maybe some slow dancing, good conversation, lots of eye contact and touching. Definitely no mobile phones and no TV.

Flowers from the hubby, dinner out without the kids, time to talk without interruption, maybe cuddling in the spa and drinking wine.

Hanging out with a big group of friends, but the whole time he wants to get away with you. Then actually getting away...Yeah, I'm 15. Get over my immaturity.

having a bonfire/picnic/dinner at the beach. the waves, the breeze, the stars need i say more. and after things get steamy you can take a nice cool dip in the ocean.
